The origin story

Every piece I produce starts with one question: what is this page supposed to accomplish? That mindset came from years in the trenches of content that had to perform, not just exist.

I spent years as a staff writer at SOFREP, reaching more than two million monthly readers, then moved into SEO and editorial leadership at Stoute Web Solutions. Along the way I watched the industry lurch toward AI and split into two camps: people who refused to touch it, and people who let it publish unedited slop. Both were wrong.

How I work

My methodology is three layers: entity research to define the topic, AI drafting to move fast, and an editorial pass to make it accurate, on-brand, and genuinely useful. AI is a power tool. It still needs a craftsman holding it.
