JNAbear is run by Joseph Nicholas Abear in Portland, Oregon. This policy explains, plainly, what the site collects and why.
When you send an inquiry
If you use the contact form, it collects your name, email address, your website if you give it, the service you pick, and your message. If you email instead, I receive whatever your email contains. I use it only to reply to you and, if you become a client, to do the work. I never sell or rent it, and I do not add you to a mailing list.
Form submissions are stored in the site's database and sent to info@jnabear.com by email. They are kept only as long as needed to serve you.
When you browse
- Cookies. The contact and free-audit pages set two essential cookies: a session cookie and a security token that protects the form from forged submissions. The site sets no cookies on any other page, and there are no advertising or tracking cookies.
- Hosting and security. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Analytics. The site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It is cookieless, does not fingerprint visitors, and reports only aggregate numbers.
- Free tools. The tools on the Experimental Tools pages run entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste into them is uploaded, stored, or seen by anyone.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete anything you have sent me. Email info@jnabear.com and I will act promptly.
