Six months of content strategy for a student-housing marketplace
FindMyPlace.co helps college students find off-campus housing near their universities. Over a six-month engagement I wrote content for the platform and helped shape the strategy behind it.
The challenge
A student-housing marketplace lives or dies on search. Students look for housing around a specific university, in their own words, and the content has to meet those searches while sounding like it was written for students, not for landlords.
What I did
I wrote in the platform's established brand voice, matched content to the university-specific searches students actually make, and adjusted the plan based on what the data showed working, rather than sticking to a fixed calendar.
Where it stands
The platform is live today with its university-focused content in place. Client traffic and revenue data belong to the client, so I don't publish their numbers. The founder's own words are the result I can share.
